ARShawBooks.com is operated by Annette Shaw, a sole proprietor doing business as Dauntless Media Works under the customer-facing brand AR Shaw Books ("AR Shaw Books," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit ARShawBooks.com (the "Site"), purchase or download our products, subscribe to our communications, contact us, or otherwise use our services (collectively, the "Services").

ARShawBooks.com is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services. If this Privacy Policy conflicts with our Terms of Service regarding the collection, use, or disclosure of personal information, this Privacy Policy controls.

Text Messaging and SMS Privacy

When you opt in to receive text messages from AR Shaw Books, we may collect your mobile phone number, SMS consent record, opt-in source and date, subscription status, and message engagement information. We use this information to send and manage the messages you requested, including book-release announcements, offers, reminders, and follow-up links; respond to requests; maintain compliance records; and measure or improve the text-messaging program.

Mobile information, including phone numbers and SMS opt-in or consent records, will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. This restriction applies even where other sections of this Privacy Policy permit disclosures for advertising or marketing. We may disclose mobile information only to service providers that help us operate and deliver the text-messaging program, such as our messaging platform, technology vendors, and wireless carriers, and only for purposes related to providing those messaging services.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency may vary, and message and data rates may apply. You may withdraw SMS consent at any time by replying STOP to a message. Reply HELP for assistance. Opting out of text marketing does not automatically unsubscribe you from email marketing, and opting out of email does not automatically withdraw SMS consent.

Relationship With Shopify

Shopify hosts the Site and processes personal information about your access to and use of the Services in order to provide and improve Shopify's services. Information you submit through the Site may be transmitted to Shopify and to service providers located in countries other than your own.

We may use Shopify features that combine information about interactions with our store and other Shopify merchants to provide or improve services, including analytics, fraud prevention, and personalized experiences.
